Full Job Description

Northumberland County Council has an aspiration for its Community Hubs to be the best they can be, offering a wide range of community services to our residents. To help us achieve this, we're looking for a Community Hub Coordinator to lead our team of Hub Staff and Volunteers in delivering a welcoming, friendly and efficient service.

The successful candidate will provide a friendly and efficient service to all users of the Community Hub. They will have exceptional interpersonal skills, have managed a multi disciplinary team previously and have a passion for supporting our local community. You'll be an effective communicator who excels at building trusting and empowering relationships with individuals and groups. You will be able to work closely with the community and a variety of stakeholders to identify needs. You will be able to collect, process, analyse and report on impact outcomes data to a wide range of audiences.

The post-holder will play a key role in ensuring the management, development and smooth operation of the Community Hub.

Working closely with colleagues and external partners the Community Hub Coordinator will ensure that the Community Hub is a vibrant, well managed facility, with a wide range of activities, groups and events for the benefit of local residents and those booking community spaces

Our Community Hubs are going through a period of change and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to help us drive forward our next chapter and ensure we meet the needs of our community to help us drive forward.
This position is fixed term for two years from appointment.
