Community Development Worker

We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced and skilled development worker to take an operational and administrative lead on the development of new activities, workshops, events and support groups in the Parish Hall, Hornsea which are geared towards meeting the needs of young adults in the local community (focus age group 16 to 30s).

You will be promoting the St Nicholas Parish Hall to the wider community, so experience of networking will be valuable, along with a good working knowledge of public and voluntary organisations in the local area. You will need excellent communication skills and be able to manage your own administrative tasks.

This role has been funded by UK government as part of their Levelling Up agenda and is temporary for up to 10 months in the first instance, but should further funding become available the contract may be extended. Salary is £20,225 for the 10-month contract.
