Full Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of supporting or conducting research. You must be self-motivated, with excellent organisation skills, and experience of handling confidential information. You must have knowledge of GDPR and other data protection legislation.

You will be highly motivated, proactive, have excellent interpersonal and professional skills with the ability to work within a small team and build effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The role is designed at 0.60FTE however, we welcome applications for flexible working,- please outline this within your covering letter for discussion at interview.

Research Services is part of the University's Research and Enterprise Services Division and plays a key role in helping the University achieve our strategic goals by providing expert advice, guidance and administrative support to the University's research community in the development of bids for externally funded research. The Research Services teams provide a range of research development and on-going activities including advice on funders' terms and conditions, proposal preparation, costing and pricing, impact, ethics, contracts and post-award grant administration.
