Full Job Description

As a Cleaning Coordinator at London Stansted Airport, you will be the first line of response for any cleaning issues. Effectively leading on deep cleaning projects as requested from a technical and planning perspective, supporting the Duty Cleaning Supervisor with operational delivery of cleaning excellence standards across the airport.

  • Monitoring attendance, performance and provide updates to the duty cleaning supervisor.

  • Administration and cleaning excellence,

  • Maintaining a visible presence on the floor throughout the shift.

  • Mentoring and developing the senior cleaning operatives to ensure an adequate succession plan is in place.

  • Promote and drive an innovative approach to achieving objectives, making best use of the latest industry techniques with a view to realising best practice.

    Excellent technical knowledge of cleaning services


  • Able to demonstrate experience of building effective, lasting professional relationships with colleagues.


  • Good working knowledge of cleaning best practice and COSHH


  • Self-motivated individual with strong communication skills


  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to influence and motivate at all levels


  • Able to understand a peak and flow operation, take direction from the Duty Cleaning Supervisor and react in real time to operational requirements.
