Cleaner / GSA

General cleaning of public areas and office areas including dusting, sweeping, mopping etc
- Rubbish disposal
- Cleaning washrooms, kitchen areas, gyms, classrooms and the medical/dental centre
- Work effectively without supervision
- Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice
- Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
- Working in the kitchen as a mess hand
- Duties include cleaning, washing tins, plates, cleaning fridges, cleaning deep fat fryers, serveries and general cleaning
- Following guidance set out in the cleaning schedule
- Ensuring the kitchen is kept clean and tidy to a high level of cleanliness.
- Assist with department stock takes
- Ensure that all equipment is sorted correctly and is in good working order

Basic DBS required Knowledge of COSHH Excellent team player and good communication skills Should be able to work on own initiative and within a team environment Previous cleaning experience is desirable but not essential as on the job training will be given Flexible approach to duties with a can do attitude Be able to manage your work load in a good timescale
