Car Transporter Driver HGV Class 1

The role of transporter driver working within the JLR Experience team supporting the movements of vehicles to and from Experience venues, Eastnor Castle, Solihull, Liverpool, Castle Bromwich & Fen End, also supporting movements of PR, Brand & Partnership and Comms vehicles to other JLR sites and UK events.

The individual will work with the Fleet administrator to plan and carry out movements of vehicles efficiently whilst adhering to procedures, legislation and regulations, providing customer service excellence at all times.

Due to business requirements, some flexible working is expected.

• HGV Class 1 License with at least one year's experience in vehicle transport


• Full up to date driver CPC card and familiar with digital tachograph procedures.


• Extensive experience in driving and operating transporter equipment


• Knowledge and experience of loading automotive products, tie down/weight distribution process.


• Knowledge and understanding of working at height and lone working & PUWER regulations.


• Knowledge of the National legislation for car transporters & The Association of European Vehicle Logistics


• Candidate must be fit and healthy as this is a physically demanding role.


• Candidate must be polite and courteous with good communication skills.


• Candidates must be self-motivated, hardworking, pro-active and comfortable using their own initiative.


• Observe and report equipment or mechanical failures immediately.


• Keep the lorry clean and tidy.


• Maximum of 6 penalty points and held a license for a minimum of 2 years, An individual with a customer first mindset who is easy to do business with and driven to deliver experiences.

  The successful applicant will be employed by CSRM Outsourcing Limited who are a resource management company with a long term agreement to provide resource for the Jaguar Land Rover Experience, (JLRE).
