Full Job Description

To ensure the delivery of the very best care and experience to our patients through the effective operational performance management of Cancer Services.
To represent and be responsible for the effective management of the WTWA Cancer Services department, driving the continued development of the department and all reporting staff.
A core aspect of the role will be supporting the WTWA Cancer
Services Team in the delivery of all cancer performance and compliance targets to ensure the best outcomes for all WTWA patients on a Cancer pathway.

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our expanding Cancer Services team at Wythenshawe l Hospital as a Cancer support team Manager. We are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic individual to join the Cancer Services leadership team.
The post will provide the successful applicant with the opportunity to gain experience in a wide variety of both performance and operational issues.
The successful applicant will have experience of working with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams, excellent communication skills, demonstrated ability to meet targets and deadlines and a strong aptitude for change.
You will need excellent organisational skills to co-ordinate the delivery of a comprehensive, high quality service for our patients.
The successful applicant will manage information in relation to the patient pathways, ensuring Cancer targets (both statutory and local) are recovered, achieved and maintained, and work with the senior management team to support service improvement and development projects both within the Cancer services department and with the broader Cancer speciality operational teams.
The role will be based at Wythenshawe Hospital.
