Full Job Description

An excitingopportunity has become available to make a significant contribution to our coreCAMHS service as a Team Lead. The Team Lead role will be primarily supportingWorcestershire Core CAMHS.

This role is hours however 30 hours + will be considered. The working pattern isbetween Monday Friday with service hours primarily being between 09 : 00 17 : 00, The trust offers flexible working opportunities.

You will be based atone of the Worcestershire CAMHS bases in either Kidderminster, Redditch orWorcester City, you will be expected to travel to other sites however expenseswill be covered by the trust expenses policy.

Main duties of the job

You will bejoining the service at a time of rapid development allowing you the opportunityto support the implementation of new service offers and ways of working.

Youwill work collaboratively with other operational and clinical leads whilstdirectly line managing clinical staff whilst leading / managing a team and supportingwith service developments.

You will be a compassionate leader, supporting staffwhilst being solution focused. This is an operational role although anunderstanding of child and adolescent health services would be beneficial., For full details of the duties and criteria for the roleplease refer to the job description and person specification attached.

Do you have the driveto join an experienced, highly motivated team of clinicians to deliverresponsive and effective services?,

  • A current professional qualification (RMN, Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Clinical Psychologist)

  • Evidence of continuous and recent professional development and post qualification training / studies

  • I understand that I will be asked to provide original certificates to verify my qualifications at point of offer


  • Desirable
  • Relevant accredited courses Leadership / Management Qualification

  • Supervision and / or mentorship training

  • Non-medical prescriber


  • Experience

    Essential
  • Experience in undertaking research projects / clinical audits

  • Significant recent clinical experience post- registration

  • Previous experience providing a service to children and young people within a multi-disciplinary team

  • Able to demonstrate evidence-based practice

  • Leadership experience / experience managing a clinical team

  • Experience of working with patients with severe and enduring mental illness

  • Experience of partnership working / liaison in inter-agency environment
