We have recently entered into a very exciting chapter of our development, our Trust on 1st March 2024 has grown to include 10 schools across County Durham and the Tees Valley. To support this an opportunity has arisen for a new Business Support Officer to join our growing, innovative, and forward-thinking organisation.

The successful candidate will provide business support to the central team in delivering a service to schools within our Academy Trust. This role will include undertaking a range of financial procedures such as processing orders and invoices, making payments to suppliers, handling financial queries and payroll checking. In addition, the successful candidate will also undertake a range of general office administrative tasks.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience working in a finance and/or office environment, with good organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work to tight deadlines. Candidates must be able to meet the criteria as set out in the person specification.

Full time, whole time (37 hours per week). Permanent, Band 7, £24,702 to £25,979 per annum, The position will be based at the Trust head office located at the Innovation Centre, Queens Meadow Business Park in Hartlepool. There is an opportunity to have a flexible hybrid working arrangement.
