Full Job Description

We Prep E-commerce Logistics & Fulfilment is a fast growing 3rd party logistics provider (3PL). We specialise in shipping goods to Amazon FBA warehouses, D2C shipping, kitting, unloading containers and managing customer returns. We have a large client database who operate mainly on Amazon, Shopify and other e-commerce platforms.

Following a period of sustained growth and expansion; forming a new company within our group, We Ship Global Forwarding we are looking for new additions to our team.

As a Business Development Manager you are responsible for bringing high energy and enthusiasm to the team and wider business. You should thrive within a targeted, fast paced environment and enjoy smashing your targets.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales by developing new and lapsed customers through telesales, generating interest and establishing opportunities for further business, ensuring these are followed up and actioned.

  • Take a leading role in the identification of sales opportunities and build long term relationships that foster growth with all potential customers, ensuring that regular contact is maintained.

  • Input and collaboration on new sales initiatives, offers and/or product launches, ensuring that Telesales activities are planned and managed accordingly.

  • Continuous customer review and liaison, ensuring a robust pipeline of sales opportunities.

  • Working with the Sales team and across the business, ensure telesales campaigns are pitched correctly, in line with general sales strategy and appropriate for customer needs.

  • Ensure data and opportunities are highlighted and distributed accordingly, taking care to always update sales management and other required Company systems.

  • Plan appropriate pitches and approaches for customer calls, using a variety of styles and sales techniques in order to negotiate accordingly, as well as handling all questions or complaints, with a view to securing further customers and business for the Company.

  • Report and feedback on telesales strategies and success regularly, ensuring that all outstanding opportunities are followed up and/or closed as soon as possible.

  • Any ad hoc duties or responsibilities as reasonably required by the business in the course of your employment.

    Ambitious, competitive, and confident communicator with excellent attention to detail.

  • At least 12 months of experience within a Sales or Business Development Role.

  • Engaging and confident telephone manner including excellent communication skills across all levels of business.

  • Resiliency and determination as well as the ability to handle and learn from rejection.

  • Demonstrable history of identifying sales leads and opportunities.

  • Eagerness and willingness to develop and learn.
