Bookkeeper - Part Time

Financial Records Management:

- Oversee and manage all financial records and daily bookkeeping of the business.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using the company's internal accounting software.

Accounts Payable:

- Process Accounts Payable efficiently.

- Ensure all invoices are accurately coded and paid promptly.

Reconciliation Tasks:

- Perform bank reconciliations regularly.

- Manage credit card transactions and ensure they are correctly recorded.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

- Assist with the budgeting process.

- Contribute to financial forecasting activities.

Tax and Compliance:

- Assist in the preparation and filing of Tax and VAT returns.

- Handle reverse VAT returns accurately.

Audit Preparation:

- Aid in the preparation for Year-End audits.

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.

Ledger Management:

- Update and maintain ledgers regularly.

- Ensure all entries are accurate and complete.

Financial Reporting:

- Prepare and analyse Profit and Loss accounts.

- Monitor and report on cashflow.

Trade Accounts:

- Manage and maintain trade accounts.

Sage experience

- AAT (equivalent BSc of Accounting/Finance)

Key Skills:

- Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts

- Able to use Excel Spreadsheets

- Attention to detail

- Good written and verbal communication

- Ability to work independently

- Knowledge on CIS scheme,

• Accounting: 2 years (preferred)
