Full Job Description

  • Administer and maintain the Atlassian suite of tools, including Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, Bamboo and associated plugins/add-ons

  • Provide world class technical support to our Atlassian users

  • Test and evaluate new product versions to ensure they are ready for release

  • Install, upgrade, and configure Atlassian tools, ensuring they are up to date and free from any known security vulnerability and ensure that they are properly integrated with other systems and tools used within the organisation

  • Monitor the performance, availability, and security of Atlassian applications, troubleshooting and resolving any issues that may arise

  • Manage user access and permissions, ensuring appropriate levels of access are granted and maintained in accordance with organisational policies

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Atlassian product releases, updates, and new features, and evaluate their potential impact and benefits for the organisation

    Experience in administration of ATLASSIAN toolsets

  • Proficiency in configuring and customising tools

    The team works as part of the wider IM&T function and provides many opportunities to diversify and advance within the function and the wider Submarines business.
