Full Job Description

  • Principal contact for maintenance related issues at the designated properties that cannot be solved locally

  • To be available via mobile phone in the event of an emergency.

  • Review of quotes from suppliers and coordination of works through to completion (excluding planned maintenance and capital expenditure works)

  • When on site, act as a subject matter expert for the Maintenance Technician(s)

  • Undertake periodic inspections of c10% guest rooms and advising of findings and actions required

  • Implementation and standardisation of maintenance procedures across the estate

  • Coordination and monitoring delivery of SLA by third party servicing contractors

  • Lead on the recruitment and induction of new Maintenance Technicians.

  • Lead ongoing training of Maintenance Technicians

  • Coordinate temporary cover for any Maintenance Technician vacancies within the region, ensuring properties remain compliant and room inventory is maintained.

  • Coordinate and deliver regular meetings with Maintenance Technicians, both in-person and through virtual meeting platforms.

  • Work closely and in collaboration with the Regional Property Manager for planned maintenance and capital expenditure works.

  • Review and audit of;

  • + Maintenance supply stock management
    + PPM completion.

  • Guest:
  • Ensure all guests receive a great experience

  • Ensure the hotels pass quality evaluations

  • Ensure relevant daily, weekly and monthly checks are being undertaken

  • Maintain awareness of guest feedback and develop plans for success in conjunction with COM, Hotel Operations Manager, Maintenance Technicians

  • Adherence to HI, HIEX and Hilton Brand Standards


  • Investor:
  • Understand and manage hotel P&L's, including cost control in line with personal objectives

  • Nurture effective relationships with the COMs, able to understand, articulate and contribute as necessary to the Repairs & Maintenance costs for their hotels of responsibility in line with their budget.

  • Review Hotels in line with agreed metrics and accountable for improvements where required

  • Understand in detail the P&L/costs for sites responsibility, engaging with HOMs to identify opportunity/risk areas and make plans for success

  • Nurture a culture of best practise and efficiency across hotels, networking with other Housekeeping colleagues and contractors to drive efficiency and high performance

  • Ensure effective stock control & management

  • Support the HOMs and Maintenance Technicians in ensuring statutory compliance is maintained and Atlas policies and procedures are being adhered to including;

  • + Fire Register.

    + Maintenance Holicare Log Book.
    + Mandatory Training

  • Zero tolerance approach to non-compliance, accountable for ensuring all compliance standards are adhered to across sites of responsibility.
