Full Job Description
- Cutting cleaning and prepping steel before beginning the welding process
- Keeping on top of the work area making sure it is safe and tidy
- Welding/fabrication and cleaning of non structural stock parts
- Assembling finished parts onto the job under supervision
- Helping and assisting senior members of staff with a variety of jobs and learning on the job

The training you will be getting
You will be working towards gaining the skills, knoweldge and behaviours required to obtain the Level 3 Metal Fabricator apprenticeship standard qualification;
Metal fabricator / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education
You will be required to attend college at the London Rd Campus 2 days per week for the first year, with the remainder of the working week based in the workplace.
