Full Job Description

The apprenticeship will be broken down into 8 rotations, each lasting 6 months, in order to build key skills, business knowledge and network - the expectation of each rotation is that the apprentice will be working in that function, in the relevant role, with guidance (we've proven this model works well previously) from that function:

  • Rotation1: with a mentor, in the PM team, learning the core business, products and soft skills baseline

  • Rotation 2: Manufacturing Planning

  • Rotation 3: Sourcing

  • Rotation 4: Project Planning

  • Rotation 5: Risk Management

  • Rotation 6: Contract Management

  • Rotation 7: Project Management and/or Project Engineering Management

  • Rotation 8: Aligned to permanent role, in this case Project Coordinator

  • The output of the rotations is an individual with a good understanding of how each key function, that ties to project execution, operates so they can leverage the best results.

They will also have a detailed understanding of how the business functions, good knowledge of the products and a solid network they can use going forwards.

The final intent of the rotations is to develop the apprentice's ability to rapidly assimilate into a team.

These areas are all essential for our future efficient and effective customer delivery.
