Full Job Description

You will work with the Head of Apprenticeships and Quality Lead to ensure Employers, Apprentices across all areas of provision have a positive experience and are managed and communicated with on a regular basis.

The role will involve development personal and professional development curriculum and the delivery of this to individuals and groups of apprentices. Apprentice progress coaches, working in partnership with Trainer Assessors will also:

  • Review learner progress and/or gather employer feedback ensuring that all parties are fully benefiting from the apprenticeship programme

  • Effectively engage a caseload of apprentices in a personal and professional curriculum/programme to include but not limited to:

  • + Offering support for apprentices with Additional Learning Support Needs
    + Engaging apprentices in college Safeguarding, PSHE and Wider Skills Education
    + Support professional development and careers planning
    + Educate on social and life matters such as:
    o Health and Wellbeing
    o Financial literacy and planning
    o Digital and Technology improvement
    o Innovation and creativity
    + Develop, deliver and engage apprentices in enrichment activities, community outreach and volunteering

    Experience of apprenticeship or working with learners in and FE setting is desirable along with prior knowledge / use of e-portfolio systems to plan reviews, monitor progression of skills/knowledge/competence and track learner progress is desirable but the right candidate will be able to learn new systems and processes quickly and efficiently.

    This role requires excellent communication skills and administrative ability, efficient organisation and good diary management skills. To be successful in this role you will be able to build positive partnerships and relationships with employers and provide constructive feedback that supports Apprentices to continually improve.,
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to build strong professional relationships with employers

  • A passion for supporting learners / apprentices with their personal and professional development

  • Organised with strong administrative and IT skills.

  • Experience of diary management.

  • Plan schedules to optimise efficiency and productivity.

  • The ability to adapt quickly and creatively to new initiatives.
