2nd Chef

The post holders duties tasks will include the preparation and cooking of dishes as per food menu and customer preferences. Cooking a wide range of traditional Indian dishes using their existing speciality knowledge in this area. Also testing ingredients and flavours and buying necessary items to expand the menu options for customers. Stock control, researching and negotiating with food suppliers and placing of orders. Supervising junior kitchen staff as required. Work closely with the 1st Chef and in co-operation with Tandoori Chef and other colleagues. Attend meetings to suggest costing of dishes and assisting with updating the Food Menu for dishes in collaboration with the 1st Chef. The 2nd Chef must fully comply with all health and safety policies.
