VP of Claims

We are seeking a dynamic individual to spearhead the establishment of our P&C claims department, beginning with travel, warranty, and pet insurance. We're looking for a customer-obsessed and data-driven person to create a TPA solution that approaches perfection.

The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our commercial team to onboard insurers, partner with the product team to develop an efficient and customer-centric claims system, and assemble a world-class claims team.

Responsibilities

• Develop a robust, customer-centric, and data-driven claim-handling process


• Collaborate closely with the product team to engineer a system capable of supporting the claim-handling process


• Assist the commercial team in understanding insurers' challenges and facilitating the onboarding process for new clients


• Establish and cultivate a best-in-class claims team through strategic hiring, coaching, and retention efforts


• Utilise data analytics and customer feedback to continuously refine and optimise the claims process, ensuring the delivery of a consistently stellar 5-star customer experience
  
  Previous experience in handling claims in the P&C space. We love people who started by handling claims themselves and grew through the ranks


• Proven track record of building and leading claims teams, ideally overseeing teams of 10 or more individuals.


• Proficiency in creating, documenting, and visualising claim processes.


• Experience in launching and scaling claim functions for new products.


• Desire to create a 10x better claims experience than currently exists on the market


• Experience working with US and International Claims/Clients is preferred
