Full Job Description

  • Liaise with Production and Procurement, providing accurate and timely information to ensure availability of Production Materials to fully support MMS programmes


  • Adapting solutions for customer requirements


  • Formulating proposed delivery schedules to customers


  • Ensuring Production Materials are available to support delivery schedule adherence to contract


  • Managing inventory levels and material availability to support achievement of milestone delivery to contract commitment


  • Maintaining accurate SAP data and Goods Receipt paperwork to an auditable standard and process ITAR components within SAP business system to comply with US regulations


  • Providing Supply Chain support to achieve delivery performance on contracts and new bid enquiries


  • Managing customer inventory in full compliance with customer stock controls


  • Planning and organising all scheduling activities to ensure full production material availability, As a Vendor Scheduler, you will be responsible for managing the vendors who supply the light munitions components and ensure the correct scheduling is completed for the site, engaging with a range of stakeholders and developing key relationships across the business.

  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of the SAP business system, in particular the planning, scheduling, receipt, issue, delivery and shipping processes


  • Ability to interpret Master Manufacturing Schedule and to facilitate timely communication with Procurement and Production departments


  • Knowledge of stock management, warehousing and planning of a full range of Production Materials


  • Ability to create and maintain accurate records and to communicate in a timely and effective manner across a range of functions
