Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency with power tools and hand tools.

Responsibilities:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as vehicle servicing, PDI's MOT tests vehicle repairs

- Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using diagnostic equipment

- Conduct inspections to identify potential problems and recommend necessary repairs

- Replace or repair faulty components, such as brakes, suspension systems, and electrical systems

- Perform vehicle wheel alignments and balancing

- Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude

- Proficiency with power tools and hand tools

- Work well within a team

- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Attention to detail and accuracy in diagnosing issues

- Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members and customers,

• Knaresborough: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Boatmasters' Licence (preferred)


• Driving Licence (preferred)
