Vehicle Maturation Manager

As our next Vehicle Maturation Manager, you'll be running the Vehicle Maturation Section of Vehicle Testing. You will develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for vehicle level maturation testing and user acceptance testing. You will be responsible for managing a team of Test Engineers and Drivers (inhouse and outsourced) to ensure efficient test execution.

To excel in this role, you'll need to be an effective communicator, a strong collaborator, and comfortable with hands-on vehicle working. You will Monitor Test Progress, identify issues or deviation and implement problem definition and root cause analysis.

The role requires an individual who is experienced in end of development maturation and user acceptance testing at vehicle level. You must have the ability to balance and prioritize multiple tasks to meet customer needs. You will work closely with other areas of Vehicle Engineering such as Vehicle Integration and our Vehicle Line Managers.

In this role, you'll be driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance testing methodologies, tools, and processes. You will evaluate test results, performance metrics, and user feedback to assess vehicle quality and identify key areas for improvement. Your team will act as part of the gateway function which releases the car to the customer so accuracy and attention to detail is vital.

The Key Requirements...

• Experience of vehicle-based testing.


• Experience of Vehicle Debugging, and use of appropriate tools - diagnostic equipment.


• Experience of Software Maturation Testing


• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Automotive or relevant.


• Vehicle systems knowledge.
