Trainee Retail Sales Advisor

This fantastic opportunity is based in our longstanding Vauxhall dealership in Merthyr Tydfil selling new and used vehicles.

We train all of our retail showroom advisors to have a high adaptable skill set and market leading knowledge to assist and guide customers either on line or in person select the perfect vehicle for them along with several benefit packages we offer- all you need is is the right attitude and work ethic and we will help you succeed.

The successful candidate will be given all the support required to succeed, with in-house training programmes along with the entry to the Vauxhall training Academy and the opportunity to be a fully manufacturer-accredited Sales Executive.

We are looking for a passionate, driven individual, matching our company values along with excellent communication skills and ideally some background in retail sales. Motor trade experience is preferred but not essential.

As a Trainee Retail Showroom Advisor your role will involve the below responsibilities:

· Providing outstanding customer experience

· Assisting customers by demonstrating vehicles that suit their needs

· Introducing the customer to finance experts to discuss their funding options

· Informing customers of additional products and services that we offer

· Creating sales opportunities through different means of prospecting

· Supporting the management with digital imagery

Baylis also offers a unique progression opportunity to further your career, representing two new vehicle brands and with over 400 used cars across 12 sales outlets across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire and South Wales.

The role will involve working Saturdays and every other Sunday working to 5.5 day week

Candidate will require a full UK driving license.
