Temp Summer Staff - Leisure Assistant

We are looking for enthusiastic & responsible individuals to join our events team to assist with our ever growing event services., This Summer The Bounce Park will be located in Bournemouth for two weeks of the Summer Holidays - Start Date 27/07/24. We are looking for outgoing, Enthusiastic people to join our exciting opportunity on a Temporary basis., The Chosen candidates will be responsible for assisting the running of our events, including The Bounce Park - A 4,762 square foot indoor inflatable park. You will work within a team at the event location, assisting with the set-up & dismantling, running and safety of the event.

Job Tasks include, but are not limited too:

• Supervision of the Event - ensuring customers and spectators are following the guidelines and using the equipment & venue safely. Maintain control of the event & administer first aid as required.


• Customer Service - Provide high quality customer service to ensure that the event meets the expectations of the customers and visitors. Assist customers using facilities, including instruction in the safe and appropriate use of equipment.


• Assist with opening and closing the centre - check fire exits, security and assistance required alarms, lights etc. Report any defects or hazardous items and complete quality assurance checks, ensuring facilities are safe and fit for use. Ensure that all work schedules are documented by the accurate completion of check/control sheets.


• Assist with the set-up / dismantling of the equipment - Follow company procedures in the safe set-up/dismantling of the equipment including but limited to; inflatables, blowers, electrics, seating areas, safety zones, branding materials & front desk.


• Cleaning the equipment & facility - Complete essential and routine cleaning of both the facility and equipment to ensure the event is kept safe, clean & tidy.


• Restock confectionary - completing stock control sheets. Provide tea and coffee to user groups as required; washing of glasses and crockery etc.


• Assist with changing the events marketing displays; ensure that information presented is up to date and reviewed to keep customers informed of existing and new opportunities.


• Cover Reception if required, serving customers face to face and via the telephone; operate the till system and card payment system.


• Complete Mandatory Training - First Aid training, Safeguarding training, effective handling training along with internal staff training.


• Carry out any other duties that are within the scope and grading of the post which could also be requested by the Duty manager or Head Office.

  Customer Service experience desired


• First Aid Level 1 desired


• Safeguarding Level 1 desired, Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
