We are currently seeking a skilled Taper to join our team. As a Taper, you will be responsible for applying tape and mud to seams between drywall panels to create a smooth finish. This is a crucial role in the construction process, ensuring the final appearance of walls and ceilings is flawless., Apply tape and mud to seams between drywall panels
- Smooth and feather edges of joints to create a seamless finish
- Sand surfaces using hand or power tools to prepare for painting or finishing
- Repair imperfections and cracks in existing walls or ceilings
- Measure, cut, and install corner beads around windows, doors, and other openings
- Maintain clean and organized work area

Proven experience as a Taper or similar role in the construction industry
- Proficient in English with excellent communication skills
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable
- Ability to analyze surfaces for imperfections and determine appropriate repair techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Basic data entry skills for recording project details
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
