Full Job Description

+ Key Management position representing the DFT account in all supplier related activity.
+ Define, implement, manage, and execute DFT specific sourcing strategies, aligned to the customer requirements.
+ Ensure the supply chain is fit for purpose, aligned to business need, and represents lowest total cost, optimal service, highest quality, providing ethical and sustainable supply with relevant impactful supply base innovation.
+ Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to reflect and influence the needs of the account in developing DFT specific Supply Chain strategies.
+ Ensure all supplier contracts support the optimisation of customer account margins and other benefits, offering opportunities for on-going improvements and enhancements.
+ Manage the performance of the supply chain including Mitie First and devise mitigation strategies for key KPIs.

    + Lead the Mitie First initiative to ensure internal providers meet the contractual deliverables both in terms of costs and service delivery.
    + Demonstrable application of a DFT focused supply chain approach.
    + Understands & influences business needs and demand. Seen to be working in partnership with all stakeholders to ensure we have an optimal supply chain, relevant to the account.
    + Strategic management of key supplier relationships, specific to the account.
    + Demonstrating that Mitie is a customer of choice who works in partnership with key suppliers to unlock new joint value and improve performance.
    + SME analysis is compliant with the monthly KPI requirements by business unit.
    Tasks
    + Build a leading supply chain capability for the DFT account.
    + Work with the Group Supply Chain leadership team to support the development of an Account Sourcing Plans (ASPs) which is aligned to Mitie business objectives and the wider category sourcing plans.
    + Monitor and drive adherence to Group Supply chain processes, contracts, and policies.
    + Support the account sourcing plan review cycle based on business priorities, risk, contract expiry, spend analysis and opportunities identified.
    + Continuously seek opportunities to leverage spend via structured supplier rationalisation and consolidation programmes to further reduce supplier costs, deliver additional savings, and improve overall efficiencies.
    + Ongoing management of Mitie's Supplier Relationship Management program for specific area of responsibility within a culture of continuous improvement.
    + Engage with stakeholders and suppliers to optimise supply chain and procurement delivery.
    + Drive compliance to the PSL and maximise savings and benefits.
    + Function as an ambassador for the communication of the group supply chain and procurement strategy, operating model, and key priorities.
    + Manage the supply chain KPIs, in particular, the compliance with the SME KPI by business unit.
    + Lead initiatives improving Mitie's ethical and sustainable sourcing.
    + Embed supply chain risk management frameworks.
    + Ensure guided buying channels are used across the account.
    + Work with Business Unit stakeholders to secure feedback on Supplier performance via 'voice of the customer' process.

  • A track record in managing procurement delivery and high performing teams.

  • First class interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills.

  • Able to demonstrate the ability to influence, challenge and negotiate the wide range of knowledgeable clients, suppliers, and colleague at board level.

  • Significant commercial procurement experience.

  • Experience in delivering exceptional procurement value in a complex environment, managing a diverse range of stakeholders and customers.

  • Ability to influence and challenge at a senior level both internally and externally.
