Full Job Description

  • To achieve high service levels and customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate delivery of orders, resolving any issues or complaints, and providing proactive communication and feedback to internal and external stakeholders.

  • To manage the logistics budget and optimize the cost-effectiveness of the transportation and storage processes, by negotiating with vendors, implementing best practices, and monitoring key performance indicators.

  • To drive continuous improvement and innovation in the logistics function, by identifying and implementing opportunities for process improvement, automation, digitalization, and sustainability.

  • To collaborate with cross-functional teams and departments, such as sales, marketing, production, quality, and finance, to align the logistics strategy with the business goals and ensure smooth and efficient operations.

  • To deliver projects according to the business needs and priorities, by planning, executing, and reporting on the project scope, timeline, resources, risks, and outcomes.


  • Detailed responsibilities
  • Daily checks and confirmations that all carriers have approved their allocated transportation work, and follow up with any issues or delays

  • Make sure failed deliveries are reported with accurate reason codes and investigated, and communicate with relevant stakeholders to resolve them

  • Work alongside customer services to meet all customer needs and to provide a high standard of service, and handle any complaints or inquiries in a timely and professional manner

  • Support customer service department with resolution of customer queries, and escalate any complex or urgent cases to the appropriate level

  • Co-ordinate on time processing of invoices for supply chain (3PLs invoices), and verify the accuracy and completeness of the billing data

  • Work with service providers to ensure delivery of agreed KPI's, and monitor and evaluate their performance and compliance

  • Monitor stock levels to secure customer orders are fully covered, and report any discrepancies or shortages to the inventory manager

  • Oversee that T&L TMS system is updated - monitor TMS reports, and ensure the data quality and integrity of the system

  • Ensure accuracy in planning and administration of export orders, and comply with the relevant laws and regulations of the destination countries

  • Liaise with operations team to ensure all container stuffing and loadings are on time, and coordinate the optimal allocation of space and equipment

  • Provide cover for team members during leave periods, and assist with the training and development of colleagues

  • Ensure cost accruals and budgets are in line and any exceptions reported and monitored, and contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of the logistics processes and costs

    The senior logistics coordinator is responsible for ensuring customer orders are delivered on time and in full, by overseeing the planning, execution and monitoring of all inbound and outbound shipments. The role involves strong vendor management skills, as the coordinator liaises with 3PL hauliers and warehouses to optimize the service level, cost and quality of the transportation and storage processes. The coordinator also ensures compliance with safety, environmental and regulatory standards, and handles any issues or escalations that may arise during the order-to-cash cycle. A senior logistics coordinator should have knowledge about company products, effective task management and team player skills, and an ability to learn quickly and work effectively with people at all levels of the organisation., Good knowledge of end-to-end Food and Beverage supply chain processes and solutions

  • An ability to learn quickly and work cross functionally with people at all levels of the ASR Group and the customer organisation

  • ESSENTIAL WORK EXPERIENCES
  • Supply chain and Logistics experience in a demanding environment (Domestic / Import / Export)

  • Experience in an environment that requires high levels of accuracy and flexibility

  • Experience of working with internal and external customers, Ideally someone with a degree in Supply chain/Logistics/Business
