Sports & Dance Coach

Bowen Holiday Cam is looking for experienced Sports & Dance Coach to deliver sessions to our popular half term Camp at Woodhouse Park Lifestyle Centre in Wythenshawe.,

• Encouraging full integration into class activities


• Provide a fun and safe learning environment for all children


• Reinforcing learning and behaviour routines


• Enforce Health & Safety Policy at all sessions.


• Working effectively in a team


• Dealing with parents before and after sessions


• Being organised and planning ahead


• Being proactive and creative with sessions
  
  We are looking for coaches who have prior experience working with children with age between 5 to 11 years old, and is happy to take the initiative and work unsupervised when necessary as you will be working in groups of children., Experience of working with children and young people


• At least 1 NGB Level 2 coaching certificate is ideal


• Demonstrable experience of using own initiative


• Demonstrable experience of working proactively and unsupervised


• Able to pass an enhanced DBS check (essential)


• Be friendly and approachable with a 'can do' attitude


• First Aid Trained (Ideal)


Skills and Abilities

• The ability to work with children and schools to achieve positive outcomes


• Able to communicate effectively with young people and those who influence them (parents, teachers etc)


• Passionate, enthusiastic and believe in making a difference


• Excellent time management and organisational skills, Sports coaching: 1 year (preferred)


Licence/Certification:

• Driving Licence (preferred)
