Shipping Administrator

This position is located at our European headquarters in High Wycombe, UK.

• Responsibility for the import instruction process to carriers


• Ensuring courier shipments are sent out & delivered on time to our customers & global offices


• Support Shipping Team with day to day administrative tasks eg. creation of manual shipping invoices & packing lists


Key Tasks & Responsibilities

• Managing shipping inbox for imports, creating instructions to carriers and updating records


• Liaise with relevant departments to co-ordinate courier shipments


• Creating shipment invoices & packing lists


• Ensure all courier shipment deliveries are made in line with customer and company requirements.


• Act as contact for customer and internal queries relating to shipping or status enquiries.


• Signing off freight invoices from suppliers


• Maintaining and updating various existing spreadsheets.
  
  Previous experience of shipping and shipping procedures relating to imports & courier shipments


• Knowledge of Customs/HTS Codes.


• Keenness to learn and carry out new tasks and develop new skills, within a multi-functional role.


• Sound analytical and interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation.


• Good knowledge of Incoterms


• A good demonstration of prioritisation


• Strong communication skills, internally and externally


• A high standard of computer literacy with Excel VLOOKUP skills
