We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join the Exchequer Services Management Team and support the Council to continue to deliver on our ambitious plans to support Knowsley's residents. As Service Manager (Benefits and Welfare) you will play a key role in helping to deliver the Council's priorities. You will be responsible for providing Benefit and Council Tax Support, Emergency Support and Hardship Support for households who may be struggling post covid / cost of living crisis. It will be key for you to build great relationships with colleagues across the organisational and regionally to deliver an exceptional service for our residents.

To be successful you will have a demonstrable track record of leading, developing and managing highly performing teams and have an appetite for change. You will have a strong customer focus with the customer experience at the heart of the services you deliver.

You will need to be able to plan and prioritise activities across multiple functions with confidence, as well as the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively as part of the Exchequer Services Management Team.
