This role is structured as Chiswick Park with fully remote working pattern, meaning you are remote based, but your office location is Chiswick Park where you will need to travel into for key business meetings.

What will this role achieve?
As the Senior UK&I Supply Chain FP&A Manager you will be responsible alongside your team for the reporting of the Supply Chain financial performance and submissions to Group and UK FP&A. This important part of the role will consist of owning the end-to-end finance performance across the UK's 7 manufacturing sites, logistics, and central functions! This includes Financial Modelling, Reporting & Forecasting, Analysis & Insight, Control, Decision Support and Business association.
In addition to reporting, you will be responsible for the tracking of our Supply Chain Productivity targets. This will require partnering with Regional Finance Managers and Factory Managers to understand business performance against objectives, flag opportunities & risks and help course correct where necessary.
The remaining key deliverables of your team include leading Capex Business Cases, utilising ROI and Payback methodology, and owning the Internal Audit process of our sites. This will require the candidate to build strong relationships cross-functionally with Internal Audit, Factory Managers, Supply Planning & SQSE.
The role will require travel to the manufacturing sites and Chiswick Park to both drive financial awareness and support our journey to full standardisation. The role will report directly into the Supply Chain Finance Director and manage x2 direct reports in the Supply Chain FP&A Manager and Central Finance Projects Manager. Key partners include the Supply Chain Financial Controller, 5 Regional Finance Managers, Senior Procurement Finance Manager, Internal Audit, Factory Managers, Supply & Planning Projects & Investment Team and Internal Audit
Overall, this role is pivotal for supporting the Supply Chain Finance Director in driving critical focus across all areas of finance to our key business partners.
What will be your key deliverables?
People

  • Manage the development and delivery of x2 direct reports the Supply Chain FP&A Manager and Central Finance Projects Manager

  • Work closely with all persons in the UK&I Supply Chain finance team to ensure business performance is understood and articulated clearly to key stakeholders to drive business performance

  • Leverage relationships to drive continuous improvement and standardisation, in particular across our Supply Chain Reporting, Forecasting, Capex Review and Key Controls

  • Navigate your key partners through the business goals and commitments to budget


  • Financial Control
  • Drive adherence to the business financial controls, policies and procedures, including Internal and External Audit review recommendations

  • Responsibility alongside your team for Central Balance Sheet, P&L and Cost Centres

  • Use your position to challenge and drive factory financial performance

  • Management of Transfer pricing/intercompany (Export/BIP)


  • Supply Chain Reporting & Forecasting
  • Manage Supply Chain Monthly Reporting timeline alongside UK&I FP&A Manager to ensure Reporting responsibilities are met on time and in full

  • Providing monthly performance insight on PCV & Ohs and MCC. Including site cost base analysis, cost base bridging and cost saving validation

  • Lead the preparation of the annual budget from end to end, liaising with Supply Chain, Commercial, FP&A, Regions & Group

  • Lead the consolidation and reporting of the Supply Chain Financial LE on a monthly basis to inform and drive operational performance

  • Lead the month-end and year-end close process alongside Supply Chain Financial Controller


  • Projects:
  • Alongside Central Finance Projects Manager take ownership of internal and external audit relationships and lead design, implementation and tracking of Capex Business Cases

    CIMA, ACA or ACCA Qualified

  • Proven FMCG & costing experience is desirable

  • Strong Financial Control

  • Comfortable challenging the Status Quo and influencing Senior Stakeholders.

  • Able to demonstrate a proven communication and teamwork ability, with the gravitas to build solid, successful working relationships cross functionally

  • Track record of providing robust and insightful financial analysis, including planning and forecasting

  • Understanding of Standard Costing and variance analysis

  • Experience working with Internal & External Audit

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint


  • Desirable
  • Knowledge of SAP processes or other relevant systems and ability to get up to speed quickly on relevant systems

  • Knowledge of Power BI System
