Full Job Description
- Issue customs documentation for exports to the continent including Transit Accompanying documents, anticipated declarations, GMR, Eurotunnel/Ferry Bookings and border passes.
- Working with the Warehouse team to facilitate the departure of goods from the Europa transit warehouse inc DG/ADR freight.
- Assisting other company departments & branches with any customs transit related queries or enquiries.
- Liaising with various customs bodies including Border Force Home office, Eurotunnel Border services (EBS) and Bureau de Douane de Calais (French customs) to support the clearance and release of shipments into the continent.
- Controlling and maintaining customs compliance procedures, in relation to Europa's transit guarantee including working with HMRC CCTO to resolve any transit discrepancies.
- Working with partners &overseas agents to co-ordinate the discharge of transits on Europa transit guarantee.
- Any other duty as dictated by your manager, from time-to-time.
We are looking for an experienced Customs Transit Operator to join our team in Dartford! You must have experience in completing Import/Export Customs Entries, completing T-Forms and have excellent customer service skills., You must have at least 1 year experience in the following: - Freight forwarding
- Completing import/export Customs Entries
- Completing T-Forms
- Experience in either air, sea or road freight
- Excellent customer service experience
- A diligent individual who is pro-active, hard working with excellent attention to detail
- Office administration, Customs Entry: 1 year (preferred), How many years experience do you have in a Customs position?
- Do you have freight forwarding experience?
