  • The latest Active Lives survey from Sport England paints a worrying picture. It revealed that one in four children could not swim 25 metres unaided by the time they left primary school, despite it being a national curriculum requirement. Without intervention, data suggests that this could rise to60% of children leaving school unable to swim in 2025. As a result, many children are not adequately equipped with vital water safety skills, thus increasing their vulnerability to water-related accidents and fatalities.

Swim:ED aims to overturn these disheartening statistics. The innovative programme brings swimming instruction directly to the schools, circumventing the need for expensive and logistically challenging off-site trips. TB SPORT achieves this by providing heated, secure pop-up pools on the school premises, eliminating the need for transportation and cutting down on lost learning time, thus making swimming education more accessible and effective.

Moreover, Swim:ED goes above and beyond to ensure that the programme adheres to the highest standards of health and safety. Stringent policies and procedures are in place, and all swimming instructors and lifeguards are fully qualified and DBS-checked, thereby providing a safe and secure environment for children to learn.
