Salon Assistant

We are on the search for a Superstar Salon Assistant to work in our Windsor Salon 3-5 days a week! Part time and full time available.

The Nitty Gritty

• Our team of long-standing experienced apprentices need an enthusiastic person to join them to work the week in Windsor.


• We need you doing your thing 3-5 days a week with a mixture of shifts 9-6, 10-7 & 12-9.


• Environment is buzzing, large salon team, great tunes all day and no two days are the same

SJ Forbes Windsor opened its doors 8 years ago and has grown rapidly. As a result, we need a motivated and lively individual with a good sense of humor and work ethic to join our SJ Forbes Family in a key role to the business.

The role is varied and would see you work closely with the salon's founders and be the face of the Windsor branch. You would meet and greet clients old and new ensuring they receive a first-class experience.

Daily you will be:

• Offering and making refreshments


• Meeting and greeting guests on arrival to the salon


• Wash basin services including Shampoo, conditioning, treatments and Toner applications.


• Assisting stylists with preparing clients, helping throughout the service.


• Keeping the salon clean & Tidy and providing an all-round first-class service.


As well as the above we offer discount on retail, Bank holidays off and we take our SJ FORBES team out for team bonding days throughout the year including Ascot Races, Spa days and Great Christmas parties!

Industry experience isn't required to do this role and do it well, however a passion for fashion and the latest trends goes a long way in this sector, as does an excellent telephone manner and confidence when liaising with people on a face to face basis.
