Sales and Marketing Manager

We are looking for a passionate sales person to be responsible for managing existing local corporate, corporate group and leisure accounts at The Francis Hotel in Bath, driving new business leads to the hotel. You will be a confident and natural people person with a vast experience, an established contact list of local corporate contacts and a flair for creating long term relationships, driving the right rated business to The Francis Hotel. The hotel is due to embark on a multi-million pound transformation, therefore experience of taking a hotel through a repositioning project would be preferred.

Your primary role will be to support the topline revenue for The Francis Hotel, support the marketing of the different revenue areas of the hotel and establish opportunities through the local community for the hotel. You will create interesting events to be hosted at the hotel and you will also represent the hotel at events under the Sutton Hotel Collection umbrella. You will, therefore, be an ambassador for all hotels in the Sutton Hotel Collection seeking new business relationships as well as nurturing and growing existing ones. You will work closely with the General Manager, the reactive sales team and the wider operations team whilst also supporting the rest of the commercial team to deliver the budgeted room nights across all market segments.

Onsite with some travel nationally.
