Full Job Description

We are looking to recruit a highly motivated and flexible individual to join the Regional Planning team based in the Regional Operational Coordinating Centre (ROCC) at Parkway, Manchester.
The post holder will provide a full comprehensive and confidential range of secretarial and administrative services including managing the daily post, emails and typing and preparing routine correspondence and reports.
In addition the role will provide cover in the role of a ROCC Manager and RHCD coordinator as required; to proactively monitor Acute Trust capacity and providing a single point of contact for the wider health economy, By utilising GRS maintain staffing levels within the department allowing for annual leave and sickness.
Undertake specific projects and relevant tasks including information collection and preparing reports for the Regional Planning Department as required.
Ensure confidentiality and security of information at all times.
In the absence of the ROCC Manager act up as and when required.
Coordinate meetings, workshops and events including agendas.
Coordinate the financial and procurement activities associated with the work of the Regional Planning team, from requisitioning through to handling invoices all in accordance with the trusts SFI's

Alongside the other emergency services, we also work to ensure the safety of the public and treatment of patients in the event of a major incident.
We also deliver the NHS 111 service in the North West. NHS 111 replaced NHS Direct in 2013. This service was introduced to make it easier for people to access local NHS healthcare services in England. It provides non-emergency medical help fast, and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year., Should you be successful at interview stage successful candidates will receive a conditional offer of employment, this will be subject to the NHS Employment Checks Standards.

Reference checks - This will cover a minimum of a three year period and will include a request for the number of days and occasions of sickness absence covering a minimum two year period.
