Full Job Description
- Negotiating with at-fault insurance companies for payment of our invoiced claims and negotiating to settle them
- Identifying cases likely to be capable of settlement to maximise business income
- Control your individual case load and all outstanding queries in a timely manner
- Monitor the progression of our clients personal injury cases where we cannot instruct our own solicitors and assisting pushing these cases forward
- Identifying trends with insurer behaviour/ tactics
- Thoroughly investigating liability circumstances on cases, gathering evidence and arguing liability in favour of our customers
- Keeping up to date with current legislation i.e. ABI GTA, case law, industry and insurance changes
- Updating and liaising with clients, work providers and external parties on the progression of claims
- Managing a claims case load in line with company processes, procedures and SLA's
- Ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is maintained
Ability to work to tight deadlines and manage time effectively - Credit hire and claims handling - 1+ year essential, 2 + desirable
- Excellent organisational, problem solving and pre-planning skills
- Experience working in the accident management industry, motor trade or insurance arena
- Experience using proclaim system
- GTA/ NON GTA and liability Knowledge
- Excellent IT skills, good knowledge of MS Word and Excel
- Experience within the accident management industry is essential., A-Level or equivalent (preferred)
- Recovery of hire charges and repair costs: 1 year (required)
- Driving Licence (preferred)
