Full Job Description

  • Your role will be to assist the site team in managing all commercial aspects of the project ensuring all commercial procedures are met.

  • In doing this you will be assisting the site team maintain and control the safety, financial and productivity aspects of the project.

  • You will also be assisting the Quantity Surveyor in ensuring the timely procurement and payment of subcontractors and suppliers, contract reviews and negotiations, issuing instructions to contractors and producing reports for review with the Head of Commercial.


    • The training you will be getting

  • You will be attending Liverpool John Moores University one day a week throughout your apprenticeship programme, you must meet the minimum entry requirements and secure a place on the course.

  • The other 4 days a week you will have the opportunity to work in a mixture of departments ensuring exposure to Health and Safety, Planning, commercial and technical areas of the business.

  • Apprentices will work towards the Chartered Surveyor (degree) level 6 apprenticeship, earning a Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accredited BSc/BSc(Honours) .

    Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Problem solving skills, Administrative skills, Number skills, Analytical skills, Team working, GCSE or equivalent English / Maths (Grade 4) Essential

    • A Level or equivalent Any (Grade BBC) Essential
