Full Job Description

We are currently seeking to recruit a Project Quality Engineer to join part of team to deliver a £multi-million heavy civil engineering project in East Yorkshire. Works comprise earthworks, piling, RC structures, paving, & drainage.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to;

· Interpretation of project specifications and communication of requirements to the project team, liaising with client in relation to variation, concessions

· Monitoring and measuring Management System effectiveness, including data/root cause Analysis, Auditing (corrective and improvement action) and report writing

· Ensuring CA following RCA is implemented and closed out in a timely manner

· Producing Quality Performance Reports against Audit Criteria, Objectives / KPI's, Contractual Requirements Development of contractual and project related quality documentation, including records of inspection and test plans, support the completion of quality documentation packages supporting installation, completion and commissioning

· Overseeing quality of work delivered by subcontractors

· Attend staged inspection on behalf of Trant Engineering Limited

· Review and approve project records/documentation on behalf of Trant Engineering Limited

· Review & approve ITP and Quality Plans

· Producing Quality Performance Reports against Audit Criteria, Objectives / KPI's, Contractual Requirements

· Review O&M manuals to ensure compliance

· Raise & close out non-conformities including defects

· Attend quality meetings

· A background in Quality Assurance within the construction industry (within a heavy civils environment)

· Report Writing/ Presentation Skills

· Good interpersonal skills

· Experience in a client facing role

· Able to prioritise effectively

· Strong IT skills (MS Office and SharePoint)

· High attention to detail/ accuracy

· Certified Internal/Lead Auditor/Internal auditing

Qualifications;

· An ISO9001 related Qualification

· CSCS
