Public Health Strategist

The Post Public Health Strategist The post-holder will assist in the implementation of public health policies, national guidance and the evidence base to increase healthy behaviours and support the reduction of health inequalities in the borough. The role will lead the recommissioning of the NHS Health Check contract. This is an exciting opportunity to develop the service, working with partners to identify how to increase uptake of the programme in target groups, including residents from the most deprived parts of the borough and marginalised groups. In addition, this post will be leading on novel and community-driven interventions, i.e., womens health pathways andalsoprovision of cardiovasculardisease (CVD) checks within workplaces around Brent.
