Full Job Description

You will be helping to deliver projects and provide administrative support to project delivery teams, to improve the provision of sustainable transport, such as bus improvement, cycling and walking schemes within South Gloucestershire to improve people's lives and the environment.
This is a Limited Term Contract for 12 months
What will you be doing?

  • You will be undertaking specific project, monitor outcomes and outputs, complete project reports, and aid in the preparation and delivery of reports and presentations.

  • On a daily basis you will contribute both to the monitoring of projects and reporting on cost effectiveness and quality standards and establish, implement and review service standards and performance measures.

  • In the role you will research, analyse and evaluate information which may include legislative and regulatory areas to enhance decision making and to provide good technical advice to customers ensuring that procedures and good practice are shared.

  • You will help to manage correspondence across a number of projects, arrange and attend meetings and workshops, draft agendas, record detailed minutes and carry out relevant follow-up work.

  • Supporting other divisions and teams, you will perform tasks to support the operation of the Project Management Office.

    You must hold a degree in a relevant subject, or be able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge and experience.

  • It is essential you understand how project management methodologies should be applied, both accurately and effectively when working on all projects.

  • We require you to be an excellent communicator and establish good working relationships with Project Managers, Project Sponsors, peers, suppliers and stakeholders.

  • You must be able to undertake and demonstrate Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to keep abreast of changes in working practices.
