Full Job Description

We are seeking to recruit a full-time Project Accounts Assistant to provide administrative support to the Finance division at Landell Mills., The responsibilities and tasks will include:

  • Processing monthly project accounts, reviewing purchase receipts and General Ledger postings, liaising with project staff in various countries

  • Resolving queries with internal and external stakeholders

  • Processing complex sales invoices in a timely manner

  • Liaising with external auditors, resolving queries and rectifying any issues

  • Updating project profit and loss spreadsheets, identifying and querying overspends/anomalies with project executives

  • Assisting project executives with budgeting

  • Supporting the purchase ledger team, processing invoices and raising payments

    In addition to the Division Manager, the division currently comprises a team of four other staff but is expected to increase in the coming months, and you will be expected to liaise and collaborate with all the other technical and cross-cutting divisions at Landell Mills.

  • Experience of working in a finance team

  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Good working knowledge of Excel


  • Desirable Skills / Attributes / Experience
  • Experience using NAV is an advantage

  • AAT qualified is an advantage


  • Essential attributes: Those without which a candidate would struggle to do the job. Any candidate unable to demonstrate how they meet these requirements would normally be rejected at the shortlisting stage.

  • Desirable attributes: Those that would be useful, but are not essential, for the post-holder to possess.

    Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.

  • A full-time contract (36.25 hours per week)

  • Salary of between £26-30,000 per annum, subject to experience

  • A workplace pension (an employer contribution personal pension scheme)

  • 24 days holiday per year, exclusive of bank holiday entitlement, rising to 25 with 2 years of service
