Full Job Description

Lancashire Constabulary would like to offer you an exciting opportunity to become a crucial part of their busy Contact Management Team, based at Police Headquarters, Hutton as a part-time Police Control Room Operator., Please note during the 8 weeks of training you will work Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, 37 hpw. Police Control Room Operators may be required to work weekends, Bank Holidays including Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.

If you are successful at shortlisting you will be invited to our selection day on the either Friday 31st May or Monday 3rd June 2024. Please ensure you are available for this date, if you are unable to attend the selection day your application will be withdrawn. The selection day will take place at our Hutton HQ site and will run from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Your assessment will last 1.5hr, where you will undertake a typing exercise and role play exercises. Further details will be available for those candidates invited to attend following shortlisting.

Please note, should you be successful at the selection day, due to there being a set number of places on this intake, if you are not within the top scoring range, you will be placed on a reserve list for future intakes.
