Full Job Description
Seeking a kind-hearted and active male Personal Assistant to support an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with autism and soon to be diagnosed with ADHD., Training will be offered to enable to complete the mandatory training required:
- Safeguarding Children
- Introduction to Paediatric first aid
- Health and Safety / Moving and handling
What you would be doing…
Supervise and ensure safety during outdoor play, especially at playgrounds and near roads.
Engage in active play, such as running around and playing with water and sand.
Assist with heating meals and support with changing clothes.
Experience working with autistic children or children with ADHD.
Understanding of the unique needs and behaviours of special children
Ability to communicate effectively with a child with limited speech.
Physical fitness and athleticism to match the child's energy level.
Willingness to learn and adapt to the child's preferences and routines.
Someone who genuinely cares about children, loves outdoor activities, and enjoys engaging in active play.
