Full Job Description

To support increasing customer demand, we are currently seeking an Order Input Clerk to process all transport requests - Manual, EDI or Pick & Distribution., In this role you will:

  • Process all transport requests - Manual, EDI or Pick & Distribution.

  • Allocating stock to manual transport orders or EDI collection orders.

  • Amending orders and the communication of the amendment specified by the company.

  • Create notifications to the customer via a GRRS for date changes, stock shortages etc.

  • Answer Calls when required to assist the customer with any queries.

  • General office/admin duties undertaken within the department., Vibrant office environment. 4 within the team within a department of 24 people. Split into 4 divisions order input, transport admin, customer service & Central Logistic Services.

    Basic knowledge of Microsoft & outlook and good eye for detail.

  • Willingness to learn new systems.

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Ability to work in a busy office environment.

  • Good sense of humour and team ethic

  • Supply chain or logistics background would be a nice to have.
