Operator 3, Machine (B)

The Operator 3, is responsible for filling in for utility support roles providing line coverage for PTO & Unplanned absences. Additional responsibilities include supporting Operations as a Lead Operator providing oversight of the process and supporting Line Operators.

SHIFT HOURS: Sunday Monday and Tuesday 7:00pm - 7:15am and Wednesday 7:00pm - 1:15am. SHIFT DIFFERENTIAL: $2/hr

• Perform the duties of an Operator 2, Machine Molding


• Support and coordinate special projects


• Identifies improvements per KPI's


• Communicates through Team Board's and with leadership team


• Perform Machine set up


• Preform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs in partnership with Technicians


• Perform and oversee product quality control checks


• Operates multiple Packaging Machines, or Molding equipment


• Enters performance confirmations and shift information into SAP


• Line Operator coverage as needed


• Reviewing / Confirmation of Shift Paperwork


• Fully trained and assist as needed in Pull Sheet process


• Fill in for Item Change Coordinator as needed


• Perform housekeeping duties
  
  High school diploma or GED


• Mechanical ability/aptitude, a plus


• Excellent communication skills both verbally and written


• Math Skills


• Computer skills; Excel and SAP, required


• Minimum three (3) years manufacturing experience, preferred


• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, preferred


• Understand manufacturing process flow


• Trained in Quality/Sensory, preferred


• Trained in Chocolate tempering, preferred


• Class 3 Fork Lift and Handcart certification, required


• Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time


• Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently


• Ability to climb stairs, often


• Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often


• Comfortable working at heights


• Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility


• Noise level can exceed .85 decibels
