Full Job Description

We have a opportunity for a experienced Management financial accountant to join our UK team. The role will provide financial support and analysis to the UK Business Unit and work closely with the UK Financial Controller in the preparation of the BUs management accounts, internal controls & timely reporting.

The role also entails designing, updating, and explaining financial dashboards to the UK sales & commercial team. This includes analysing and explaining variances vs prior periods & budgets and supporting the team in their financial forecast, adhering to the Keelings IBP strategy through clever insights and positive development. Helping to build NPD business cases and more generally can be a sounding board for ideas, initiatives, challenges coming from the business.,

  • Provide financial support and analysis to the UK Business Unit working with the Finance Analysts.

  • Work closely with the Finance and the sales & commercial team in implementing their commercial and business development strategy.

  • Prepare the UK weekly accounts and management accounts.

  • Design, update, and maintain financial performance dashboards for the benefit of the business.

  • Assist the business in building detailed and accurate budgets & forecasts, analysing, and explaining variances.

  • Drives bi-monthly category and customer reviews, allowing the procurement & sales team to have a longer view of their financial performance.

  • Ensure strict overheads controls and reconciliations.

  • Support continuous improvement projects.

  • Act as first interface between the business & UK finance.

  • Help ensure respect of internal controls & commercial policy.

    Qualified accountant

  • Capacity to interact with senior management and other functional areas

  • Proven leadership capabilities

  • Analytical skills

  • Good communication & presentation skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency in BI & Data Viz tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik, Datastudio, Domo, SAP analytics...)

  • Experience in Financial Controlling/Business Analysis in FMCG environment
