Full Job Description

Management Accountant will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of financial data within our organization. You will focus on monthly closure activities, balance sheet reconciliations, and process enhancements. The ideal candidate possesses strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving discrepancies.

You will collaborate closely with various departments to streamline financial processes, provide meaningful insights, and drive continuous improvement initiatives., As a Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial integrity and driving process improvements within our organization. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Monthly Closure Activities: Execute journal entries, accruals, and reconcile financial statements to ensure accuracy during monthly financial closures.

2. Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Conduct thorough balance sheet reconciliations, meticulously verifying the completeness and correctness of financial data.

3. Variance Analysis and Efficiency Enhancement: Analyse variances and trends to identify areas for improvement, driving efficiency gains across financial processes.

4. Collaboration and Process Streamlining: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and enhance internal controls.

5. Management Reporting and Insights: Prepare management reports and presentations, effectively communicating financial performance and key insights.

6. Budgeting Support: Assist in the budgeting process, providing analytical support and assessing risks and opportunities.

7. Audit Compliance: Participate in audit activities, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.

8. Proactive Process Improvements: Proactively identify opportunities for process enhancements and implement solutions to boost efficiency and accuracy.

9. Stay Current with Accounting Standards: Keep abreast of accounting standards and best practices to maintain compliance with industry regulations.

  • 3-5 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience with Monthly Closure processes, balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis


  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards;

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial management system (Microsoft Dynamics NAV and / or Business Central are preferrable);

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data;

  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey financial information to non-financial stakeholders;

  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality;

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment;

  • Proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing best practices, accounting: 3 years (required)
