MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT

This position reports to the Maintenance Manager and the successful candidate will assist the Maintenance & team in ensuring the maintenance and Health and Safety standards of the site meet the expectations of the site General Manager, Company Stakeholders and Aspers customers.

The role will be responsible for completing maintenance tasks to a high standard and within a timely manner, liaising and working alongside third party service providers.

Please note that this role functions in a business that operates evenings and weekends, and as such full flexibility is required. The role will be expected to be available to work for any requirements within Aspers & this will mean evening & weekend obligations outside of 'normal' working hours

• A minimum of 1 year experience in a maintenance environment.


• Certificate to operate scissor and tower lifts.


• Either A diploma qualification, City and Guilds Certificate or Proven Knowledge in Carpentry, electrical, plumbing, Painting etc.


• Good Communication Skills


• Good attention to detail


• Team Player


• Ability to organise work loads.
