Machining Apprentice ARROW ENGINEERING LTD

As a Machining Apprentice, you'll be initially responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Machining of bespoke products using various manual and CNC machines;


• Work safely and in line with written procedures, carrying out your own risk assessment before commencing work;


• Use a variety of hand tools;


• Undertaking final inspections of finished components ensuring they are within tolerance;


• Maintaining a clean, organised and productive work area;


• Ensure production timings are met/exceeded.


You'll develop your skills alongside time-served Arrow Engineering employees and other ex-apprentices who are eager to pass on their knowledge, helping you learn a variety of duties and how to support the whole business. You'll be taught and mentored to achieve your full potential and create the foundation of a career in engineering.

You'd be based at their Bawtry site and assist with the machining of bespoke products., The successful candidates will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists, RNN Group at their North Notts campus on a day release format, giving you the training and support you need to become an all-rounded and successful Engineer.

Functional Skills in Maths & English if required.

The Apprenticeship Standard you will be studying is Engineering Operative - Mechanical - Level 2
