Role and Responsibilities

  • To work as part of the team to the best of your abilities

  • To adhere to all health and safety guidelines

  • To adhere to all available relevant SOP's

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards

  • Relay any process improvements /suggestions/challenges to your line leader

  • Be a flexible member of the team, willing to work at any point of the process given the opportunity


  • Machine Operator Requirements:
  • Experience of using the following machines is preferrable: Salvagnini, Trumph and Armada Press Brake, Trumph Multi Tool Punch, Armada Laser or other similar machines.

  • Operate and maintain machines in a manufacturing environment

  • Set up machines for production runs and adjust settings as needed

  • Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine issues

  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal condition

  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area

    Full training will be given however experience in a manufacturing role will be preferred.

  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in metal fabrication

  • Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues

  • Proficient in the use of hand tools for machine setup and maintenance

  • Knowledge of materials handling techniques for loading and unloading machines

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings - desirable

  • Experience with fabrication and welding processes - desirable

  • Familiarity with CAD software, such as SolidWorks, for design purposes - desirable

  • Basic math skills for measurements and calculations

  • Strong mechanical knowledge to understand machine operations and make adjustments as needed

  • Understanding of logic controllers used in machine automation, Machine Operative: 2 years (preferred)

    Mon-Thu 14.45pm to 00.45am.

    £26100 per annum plus shift allowance payable.

    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

    Pay: £26,100.00 per year
